The cornerstones of Lady Auresae are Faith, Light, Fire, and Purity. For a Paladin two of these cornerstones are especially important. They are Faith and Purity. These aspects are important to Lady Auresae because it is through Faith that Lady Auresae has in each of us that we maintain the drive to persevere. It is Purity that keeps us free from mortal corruption and avoiding sway to the dark.
Having Faith, not only in the Divine, but also in other Paladins is important. The Faith that the other Paladins will be there for you if you ever need help. It is the Faith that Paladins will do what is good and right. It is the Faith that Paladins will always act with honor, loyalty, and courage.
Purity is keeping ourselves free of corruption and extraneous distractions. This can be as small as not associating with those that choose to follow those that contradict our ideals. Some others remain pure by not partaking in drinking. Still others choose to uphold their purity by remaining chaste throughout their life. Whatever way one chooses remaining pure is important. To remain pure is ideal for a Paladin.
