Welcome to the Paladins of Aetolia website

Divine Patron: Dhar, the Underking
Guildmaster: Edhain
Secretaries: Aevon, Rehan, Yos

The twin towers of the Paladin fortress stand unwavering in the northwestern-most corner of Enorian, guarding all who call the Beacon of Light home. Here the Paladins learn their skills, enrich their minds, and strengthen their resolve. The path of a Paladin is one of sacrifice, and of hardship, so that they may prepare themselves for the challenges they might face. The Paladin Knights are defenders of Enorian and their allies, opposing the forces of Darkness, Corruption, and Artifice with a strong will.

Loyalty bonds one Paladin to another, while Courage measures a Paladin's true strength in both battle and diplomacy. Honor is what makes a Paladin a true Knight, as their commitment manifests in words and actions.

Through their combative skills in Chivalry, they uphold these principles in their prowess with a blade, their close connection with their falcon companions, and more. They use Devotion, the holy powers imbued to them by the Gods, to become a formidable protector of the faithful. Their combative training gives them the patience and resolve to create most any manner of weaponry and armor through Forging, from constructing a mere dagger to the powerful longsword.

About Aetolia

Aetolia is a new, yet mature and established world. But how can that be?

The world of Aetolia was made, or so the first seers tell us, fully formed and populated shortly after the creation of the universe by Varian, the Satus. Though the eldest mortal memories begin at the moment of Creation - the moment now marked as the beginning of the Midnight Age - some theorize that there was a "before time," a time when the world could remember its distant past, and that the Creator, for reasons known only to Him, unmade the universe and remade it in a form more pleasing to Him. This theory, among those of the fringe who believe it, is known as that of the "Forgotten Age." Still others, though generally derided and outcast for their lunacy, claim that there are two or even more universes, existing simultaneously and in parallel, and that our universe was somehow derived from the other. Whatever the Truth, it is known only to the ineffable awareness of the Divine Creator, Varian, the Satus - incomprehensible to fragile mortal minds.

So in one sense, Aetolia is a new, fresh world - ripe for adventurers to make their marks and establish a foothold of power and prestige. In another sense, Aetolia is a mature, established world with many highly-detailed areas, balanced player classes, and leadership structures.

But above all, the world of Aetolia is changing, and will continue to do so. The Divine Pantheon of Aetolia is a restless one, and change is in the wind. Join us as we change the world.
