The path to becoming a Paladin knight
By Asilient

The path to becoming a Paladin knight-

Many people choose the path of the Paladin with their own reasons, but similar reasons between them all. A Paladin knight is not based on fighting ability alone, but also on many characteristics falling under the three principles of the Paladins. Courage, honour and loyalty. Every Paladin has a belief in all of these principles, some believe in one principle stronger than the others, others believe in the principles and enforce their beliefs in their actions.

The Paladins all have characteristics that make them knight material,
some who choose the path of the Paladin may fail because they don't have the same beliefs as the Paladin guild in general. Others may fail because they don't have one of the characteristics that a Paladin may have, some of these characteristics would be: leadership, determination, compassion and understanding.

All of the Paladin knights are recognised for pulling through all of the hardships that have confronted them, never giving up with great determination. Even after knighted the Paladins' trials do not end, if anything they are just beginning, the knights are confronted with the responsibility of landmarking, teaching those that aspire to become paladin knights in the future and defending those who wish for peace.

The Paladins put their own lives at risk when they perform the landmarks towards their elysian aspects with necromancy users working against them to convert the landmarks to their necromantic aspects. The Paladins face many dangers, the threat of ambushes, not to mention the dangers of the area the landmarks are in. The landmarks can be an accurate measure of the battle between "dark" and "light", the necromancy and devotion users.

The path of the Paladin is not one to follow lightly, anyone who chooses to follow this path should expect many personal and widespread hardships along the way, only those who can come through all of these hardships, showing strength of character, prove themselves to be worthy of being a Paladin knight.
